Benefit the world
Serve
Mohists measure ideas by what they do. In the Community, service is not an extra good deed; it is part of what membership means.
Assignments
Every Mohist holds an assignment (职) in the chapter: leading the reading, keeping the accounts, welcoming newcomers, finding a room. Assignments go to the capable, rotate regularly and are open to everyone.

Each Mohist is paired with another, checks in at least monthly and is the first to show up in illness, a move or a lost job. Impartial care begins with one concrete person.

The 非攻 Corps organizes Mohists for disaster relief, mediation and public service. The 兼士 service year is a full-time, one-year program for those willing to give a year to the world's benefit.

Those with means share. Mohists give a voluntary monthly frugality offering to the 兼爱基金 fund, used for members in hardship and for public service. Accounts are published every quarter for anyone to inspect.

Teach children a lesson on optics, geometry or mechanics. The STEM hall needs Mohists who can teach, Mohists who can build apparatus, and Mohists who are simply willing to be present.
